Sven, what a gorgeous image of the details on this great classic. However, I must correct your headline; this is a prime example of a 1958 Impala. In 1958 the Impala package was offered as an option on the top-of-the-line BelAir as a 2-dr hardtop or convertible. In 1959, the Impala became it's own model, being placed above the BelAir as the new top-of-the-line for Chevrolet..... Dale Walker, Founder of National Impala Association, dedicated to the marque of 1958-1964 Chevrolet 'X-Body' classics!
